Dr. Robert Sharpe, O.D.
Dr. Robert Sharpe was born and raised in London, Ontario.
He graduated from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo in 1987 with a Doctor of Optometry Degree. That same year, he opened his private, independent practice.
In 1994, Dr. Sharpe graduated from the ocular therapeutics program at Northeastern State University Oklahoma .
Dr. Sharpe's main focus in his career has always been to serve others.
He understands the importance of getting to know each of his patients and their unique eye health needs well, so that he can provide the highest quality care possible.
Dr. Sharpe is equally committed to the service of others in his personal life, and maintains memberships in various service clubs and organizations, as well as church.
When he has some spare time, Dr. Sharpe enjoys fishing on the beautiful Great Lakes, and participates regularly in fishing derbies. He has memberships in the Bluewater Anglers Association, the Western Ontario Fish and Game Club, and the Long Point Bay Anglers Association.

Dr. Julia Laverty B.M.Sc., O.D.
Dr. Julia Laverty grew up nearby in St. Thomas, Ontario. After receiving her Honors Bachelor of Medical Science in Biochemistry from Western University, Dr. Laverty went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo with a Doctor of Optometry. After graduation, she practiced in Calgary, Alberta, and the Greater Toronto area before relocating back home and joining the team with Dr. Robert Sharpe.
Dr. Laverty has a special interest in the dry eye as well as pediatrics and enjoys meeting new patients of all ages. In the past, she has traveled to Ecuador to provide volunteer optometric services to those in need and hopes to have the chance to do so again in the future. Being active in the profession of Optometry, Dr. Laverty is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
When she isn't in the clinic Dr. Laverty loves to be active and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
